On a Recell bench, you know you’re sitting well. Now and in the future. The bench is made from biocomposite with Recell inside. Recell is derived from cellulose-containing residual streams that would otherwise be incinerated. Together with CirTec and Cellvation, we developed an innovative technique to recover cellulose. The residual streams mentioned include (amongst others) non-recyclable paper or cardboard, screenings from wastewater treatment plants, and even textiles. The cellulose we recover from these waste streams is processed into Recell, transforming something worthless into something valuable. Recell is one of the most sustainable resources available today.

Our bench consists of 65% Recell and 35% recycled plastic, making it 100% circular!
Endless possibilities…
A sustainable bench, that’s fantastic. Even better is that the possibilities with biocomposites containing Recell are nearly endless. Through extrusion, materials with Recell can be shaped into virtually any form and produced in beautiful (and equally sustainable) colors. Thanks to its compound, these materials are suitable for long-term use both indoors and outdoors. Recell is also an excellent choice for 3D printing.
